The core duties under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 apply to all non-domestic premises and the common parts of residential buildings. Residential blocks have extra requirements under the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022. What changes most between sectors is how works must be planned around occupants.
