We are not tied to one factory. Each Q-Mark manufacturer’s certification suits different jobs, so we match the doorset to the fire rating, glazing, acoustic or PAS 24 security need, finish and programme.

Doorsets fitted by our own installers under the BM TRADA Q-Mark Fire Door Installation Scheme. Every door labelled, certified and handed over with the paperwork.

We start with the opening, not the catalogue. Each specification is checked against these six before a doorset is ordered.
Fire rating
FD30 and FD60 doorsets, with or without smoke seals (S), matched to the fire strategy for each opening.
Acoustic performance
Combined fire and acoustic leaves for hotel bedrooms, consulting rooms, classrooms and flat entrances.
Glazing
Vision panels and fully glazed leaves using fire-rated glass and the tested glazing system — sized to match existing doors where needed.
Security
PAS 24 tested flat entrance doorsets where security and fire performance both have to be proven.
Finish
Laminate, veneer, paint-grade and factory-finished leaves, with lippings, frames and ironmongery coordinated to the interior.
Programme
Lead times checked before we commit. Deliveries phased floor by floor so doorsets arrive when the installers are ready for them.
Both routes give you a certified doorset. Only one gives you certified installation as well.
A doorset’s fire rating is proven in a test furnace — with a specific frame, fixings, gaps, seals and ironmongery. Change any of those on site and the evidence no longer applies.
That is why we prefer to supply and install. The same team that specifies the doorset fits it to the manufacturer’s instructions and labels it under the Q-Mark installation scheme, so nothing is lost between the factory and the finished opening.
