Most failed fire doors do not need replacing. They need the right seals, a working closer, the gaps corrected and the paperwork to prove it. We do that — with the same Q-Mark certified team that installs our doorsets.
CERTIFIED INSTALLER
- Repair before replace
- Certification-compatible parts

Every repair is made with parts compatible with the door’s original certification — so the door you get back is still the door that was tested.

Intumescent and smoke seals replaced with the type the door was tested with
Holes from old ironmongery

Replacing a door that only needs a new closer and seals wastes budget and disrupts occupants. A targeted repair is faster, cheaper and — done correctly — just as compliant.
Doors that cannot be brought back to compliance are flagged for replacement, with photographs showing exactly why.
- Lower cost per door
- Less disruption
- Same certified team
- Evidence for every fix
Remediation is carried out by our BM TRADA Q-Mark certified installation team, using parts compatible with each door’s original certification. Doors that cannot be brought back to compliance are flagged for replacement — see Replacement.
ReplacementStraight answers from the people who survey, repair and fit fire doors every working day.
We remediate where a door can be brought back within its original certification using compatible parts. If the door is uncertified, structurally damaged, or the repair would cost more than a certified replacement, we recommend replacement and explain why.
Tell us about the building and we will call you back within one working day. Surveys are free for programmes of ten doors or more.
